Beaches 1:
Surfers have been "catching waves" in Malibu
since the early 1940's. World famous
Surfrider Beach remains a surfing Mecca.
Other prominent surf spots are Leo Carrillo,
Zuma, County Line and Topanga Beaches.

Beaches 2:
To the world outside of Malibu, Surfrider,
Corral, Westward and Zuma are "Malibu
Beach". These broad sandy beaches welcome
hundreds of thousands of visitors annually
and offer the most in terms of visitor
services.

Beaches 3:
Malibu's west and south facing beaches
create some of the loveliest sunset vistas
in all of the greater Los Angeles area. This
spectacular sunset at El Matador Beach
brightly colors the waves and sand as the
sun's light slowly begins to wane.

Beaches 4:
Besides the larger, more famous and
populated beaches, Malibu also has many
"pocket beaches" offering a quite different
experience. Try La Piedra, El Matador, El
Pescador or Dume Cove Beaches, requiring a
bit more effort to reach, but worth it!
